irma shvangiradze: Tskaltubo, Imereti, Georgia; ირმა შვანგირაძე დაიბადა 1970 წლის 31 ივლისს საქართველოში,სოფელ გვიშტიბში,ქალაქ წყალტუბოს ახლოს. ხატვა ბავშვობიდან იტაცებდა, 10 წლის იყო, როცა მოდელების ხატვა დაიწყო, ხოლო 16 წლისამ კი უცნაური გარეგნობის ქალი დახატა და მას შემდეგ ამ სტილით ხატვას მიჰყო ხელი. სტილი თანდათან იცვლებოდა და იხვეწებოდა. წინასწარ არასდროს იცის რას დახატავს, გარდა წმინდანებისა, მისი ფანტაზია კი უკიდეგანოა. On July 31st, 1970, Irma Shvangiradze was born in Gvishtibi, a village near the town of Tskaltubo in western Georgia. Irma painted throughout her childhood, starting when she was 10 years old. She painted mainly fashion models and dress designs, but when she was 16 she started experimenting with a very different style of painting. She enjoyed this new style, and it progressed into the distinctive intricate technique she often uses now. Her style of painting changed after time, becoming more complete and colorful. She now paints a wide range of subjects including religious icons. Her imagination is limitless.
